Job Description
Medtronic seeks an MBA intern for summer 2027 to support corporate development initiatives including mergers, acquisitions, and strategic investments. The role involves financial modeling, market analysis, deal structuring, and cross-functional collaboration with senior leadership across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Perform market analysis, financial modeling, and valuation for potential transactions and strategic opportunities
- Support due diligence processes and lead transaction workstreams across cross-functional teams
- Develop presentations and recommendations on strategic analyses and investment proposals for senior management
- Evaluate acquisitions, investments, partnerships, licenses, joint ventures, and divestitures
- Manage multiple concurrent projects under tight timelines in partnership with business and corporate functions
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in full-time MBA program, graduating Spring 2028
- Minimum 5+ years of professional experience
- Eligible to work in U.S. without visa sponsorship
- Available full-time in Minneapolis office June 14 – August 20, 2027
- Medical device or healthcare industry experience preferred
- M&A and valuation experience preferred
