Injection Mold Machine Operator with MAU in Newnan, GA. As an Injection Mold Machine Operator, you will operate injection molding equipment, inspect product quality, package finished goods, and maintain accurate production documentation while meeting established safety, quality, and production standards.

- 12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule
- Day shift: 6:00 AM–6:00 PM
- Night shift: 6:00 PM–6:00 AM
- Every other weekend off
- Approximately 182 scheduled workdays per year
What We’re Looking For:- High school education or equivalent required; basic technical training is advantageous
- Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing or production experience
- Plastic injection molding experience
- Experience performing quality inspections on a production line
- Experience working shifts and following safety and hygiene regulations
- Strong attention to detail
- Dependable and punctual
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to follow written work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment
- Ability to accurately complete production and quality documentation
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively as part of a team
- Customer-focused approach with an understanding of how product quality impacts the customer
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Ability to operate pallet jacks or forklifts when properly certified
What You’ll Do as an Injection Mold Machine Operator:- Operate injection molding and assigned production equipment according to established work instructions and standard operating procedures
- Monitor machine performance and product quality throughout production runs
- Perform routine machine start-up, shutdown, and basic operational adjustments within established parameters
- Load raw materials and packaging components into production equipment as required
- Conduct product quality inspections and accurately document production and quality data
- Identify and remove nonconforming products and promptly report quality concerns
- Maintain required production rates while meeting safety, quality, and efficiency expectations
- Package, palletize, label, and wrap finished goods and move products to the correct warehouse location
- Remove finished goods, scrap, and recyclable materials from production areas
- Assist with product changeovers and production line setup as directed
- Clean machines, associated infrastructure, equipment, and work areas according to 5S standards
- Follow all safety policies, quality standards, GMPs when applicable, and company procedures
- Report equipment malfunctions, downtime, material shortages, and safety concerns to the appropriate production or maintenance team
- Safely operate material handling equipment, including pallet jacks or forklifts, when certified
- Collaborate with production, warehouse, quality, and maintenance teams to achieve production goals
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and safety-focused work environment
