Job Description
Field-based reimbursement manager for Parkinson's disease products in the Denver, Colorado area. Educates healthcare providers on patient access programs, payer policies, and reimbursement processes for specialty medicines while liaising with internal support teams and maintaining provider relationships.
Responsibilities
- Educate healthcare providers on patient support programs and access tools for assigned Parkinson's products
- Communicate payer policies, coding requirements, and claims submission processes to provider offices
- Liaise with AbbVie's access and reimbursement center regarding prescription status and program eligibility
- Report payer trends and coverage issues to internal patient services and account management teams
- Establish and maintain relationships with healthcare providers within assigned territory
Requirements
- 3+ years in managed health care, payer account management, or access and reimbursement
- Understanding of reimbursement support service regulations and compliance requirements
- Technical knowledge of payer policy processes for specialty medicine coverage and coding
- Expertise in Medicare Parts A, B, C, D and associated reimbursement dynamics
- Strong territory and account management capabilities
- Bachelor's degree
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet HCIR credentialing requirements
