Field-based reimbursement manager supporting healthcare providers in Nashville, TN with expertise on patient access, insurance coverage, and reimbursement for AbbVie products. Role involves direct provider outreach, education on support programs, and coordination with internal teams on payer trends.
Responsibilities
- Educate healthcare providers on patient support programs and AbbVie access resources
- Advise providers on specialty pharmacy networks, distribution options, and acquisition pathways
- Provide local expertise on national and regional payer policies, coding, and claims processes
- Communicate with internal access teams to update providers on prescription status and eligibility
- Report payer trends and market intelligence to support and account management teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in health sciences, pharmacy, or business; or equivalent industry experience
- 3+ years in relevant therapeutic area with managed care or reimbursement experience
- Extensive experience educating providers on payer processes and specialty medicine access
- Strong knowledge of Medicare Parts A, B, C, D and reimbursement dynamics
- Deep understanding of specialty pharmacy networks, drug acquisition, and dispensing models
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance rules and reimbursement support service regulations
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet HCIR credentialing requirements
