We're Hiring: Senior Desktop Support Specialist (Expert Level)

Are you an experienced IT Field Support Specialist looking for your next hands-on role? We are seeking an Expert Desktop Support Specialist to join our team in Sanford, NC .

Position Details

• Location: Sanford, NC (Local travel required for field support)

• Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite

• Interview Process: Webcam or In-Person

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2/3 desktop support, troubleshooting hardware, software, peripherals, and network connectivity.

• Perform computer imaging, software installation, and workstation deployments.

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot local and network printers.

• Execute user profile and data migrations during hardware refresh cycles.

• Manage user accounts, server permissions, and data restores (Active Directory, Email, Citrix).

• Lead field projects, mentor junior technicians, and document technical processes/SOPs.

Required Core Skills & Experience (7+ Years)

• PC Hardware & Software: 7+years supporting desktop hardware, peripherals, and software environments.

• Imaging & Deployment: 7+ years creating images, deploying PCs, and software installation.

• Data Migration: 7+ years migrating user data and profiles across machines.

• Printer & Peripheral Setup: 7+years installing and troubleshooting local and network printers.

• Service Desk Tooling: 7+ years hands-on experience using ServiceNow .

• Documentation: 7+ years creating operational documentation and SOPs.

• Networking & Protocols: Solid understanding of networking protocols and infrastructure troubleshooting.

• Mobility: Willingness and ability to travel locally within the Sanford area as needed.
